What information about my symptoms is useful?
Think about when the pain started, what you were doing, where it sits, what makes it worse, what settles it, whether the knee swells, and whether it has ever given way or locked. Also note the activities you want back: a specific run, a padel match, stairs at work, a long flight. Those become the targets of the plan.
How should I dress for the examination?
The knee, the hip and the way you walk are examined, so bring shorts or clothing that can be adjusted easily. Comfortable footwear helps, and if your pain relates to a specific shoe or a specific sport, bringing that footwear can be useful.
Should I send my images before the appointment?
